YOSHITAKA NISHINO – 日本

Nishino is currently the Deputy Director of the International Industry-University Collaboration Headquarters at University of Tsukuba. He is in charge of promoting industry-academia collaboration, supporting start-ups from the university, and overseeing entrepreneurial education. He has 35 years of experience at Hitachi Ltd., where he held various positions such as Director of Research Laboratory, Director of Technology Strategy Office, and CTO of Energy Division. He has experience in business development in a wide range of fields. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from Hokkaido University, a doctorate in engineering from the University of Tokyo, and an SEP (Stanford Executive Program) from Stanford University.
