AHMED RAZMAN ABDUL LATIFF – マレーシア

Dr. AHMED RAZMAN Abdul Latiff is the Senior Lecturer and Manager of Business Development at Putra Business School (PBS). He holds a Master Degree of Accounting from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Master Research Degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Lancaster University, United Kingdom. He also holds a PhD in Corporate Governance from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom. He is an Associate Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He has presented and published numerous papers at various conferences and journals as well as been awarded various research grants. He has successfully supervised more than 90 students of PhD, MSc and MBA. Since 2012, he has been appointed as one of the Intellectual Properties Evaluation Panel for Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), which involves in identifying the potential commercialization of UPM inventions. He is the Nominating Committee Member representing Malaysia for the Asian Entrepreneurship Award based in Japan. He is the Vice President (Finance) of Case Writers Association of Malaysia as well as the Editorial Board member of Asian Journal of Case Research. He is also the Chief Examiner for Corporate Governance paper under The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. As a regular commentator in radio programs and TV talk shows, he has been passionate about a very wide range of interests including accounting, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, human governance, corporate governance and ethics. He has provided various trainings and consultations on risk management, institutional governance, internal control system and corporate governance to both private and public agencies such as Jabatan Audit Negara, Razak School of Government, Ministry of Higher Education and Yayasan Bank Rakyat.

Daisuke Katagiri is a venture capitalist who have experience of an entrepreneur, founder, entrepreneur supporter and professional for pharmacology researcher and entrepreneurship education. I am one of the member of TOHOKU University Venture Partners Co., Ltd. I was one of the founding members of Amine Pharma Research Institute, Inc., a start-up from Chiba University. While practicing venture management, I was working as a special associate professor at the Chiba University in order to produce many successful examples for innovation and entrepreneur education.

Jordan is a passionate innovator with both entrepreneurial and investment experiences. He is currently working as Senior Manager in the Global Incubation Department of Innoway, in charge of Land-In-China Acceleration Program where he selects and invests in overseas high-tech startups with China market potentials. Meanwhile Jordan helps large corporations with startup scouting and innovation strategies in various industries.
Jordan is also one of the community managers of Startup Grind in Beijing, supervising the development of the Chinese Startup community in Beijing and supporting the chapter to bridge international and local innovators.
Before joining Innoway, Jordan was the project director at Cipher Ground, a deep-tech incubator. Prior to that he founded two companies, in China and in Sweden. This gave him hands-on experiences in entrepreneurship and is still helping him in better understanding startup businesses.
Jordan is born in China and studied in both Sweden and America, with a focus in Business Administration and International Management.

DE-YU WANG – 中国

Woody is the director of Technology Innovation Lab of Tsinghua iCenter, as well as the executive director of Tsinghua University Lifelong Learning Lab. His major is industrial engineering, which gave him the insight in systematically managing the process of innovation with college students. Woody has a rich experience in massive collaborative learning, VR/AR and simulation, industrial system design, human-machine interaction design, etc. He is one of the instructors for TEDxTHU and THU Makerspace Student Club. His achievement has been published as 13 papers in domestic and international journals and as 3 papers on international conferences.

DON JYH-FU JENG – 台湾

Dr. Don Jyh-Fu Jeng is an Associate Professor and Director at the Graduate Institute of Technology, Innovation and Intellectual Property Management, College of Commerce, National Chengchi University. Dr. Jeng received his Ph.D. from Waseda University (Japan), an M.S. and a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Houston (U.S.) Prior to his doctoral studies, Dr. Jeng worked as a system analyst for Texas Instruments, and as an e-commerce manager for Ateck Computer, Inc. (U.S.) In addition, Dr. Jeng has co-founded the Gtogo.com (U.S.), which its business model has later proved successful. Dr. Jeng has consulted with a wide range of organizations. In addition, he has served as a mentor to startups and devote himself to support young entrepreneurs.

Dr. Jeng teaches the Technology Innovation, Strategic Operations, and Entrepreneurship in the M.S., MBA, and EMBA programs. His lecture adopted the Participant-Centered Learning Case Method, which emphasize both industrial practice and academic theory. He has been one of the most favorable professors among the student group, and is the Fellow of Academy of Educators, National Cheng Kung University. Dr. Jeng’s major research interests focus on the cross-disciplinary of entrepreneurial management, strategic operations management and decision-making. His work has been published in book and various academic journals.

Gyewan Moon is a Professor of Strategic Management & Organization Theory in the School of Business Administration at Kyungpook National University in Korea. He served Korean Academy of Management as the President (27th , 2016~2017). He also served his University as a Chairman of Faculty Assembly (2014~2016), an Associate Vice-President for International Affairs (2012~2014) and a Director of Research Institute of Economics and Business Administration (2013~2014). He has been organizing an international conference on entrepreneurship and innovation for the past 7 years. He has good working relationship with Finnish scholars and Japanese scholars in the area of smart health areas. He published several papers in Academy of Management Review, International Journal of Information Management, etc. He received his DBA at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. U.S.A. He is currently interested in building a healthy ecosystem for entrepreneurship, creating social values and legitimacy building in implementing an innovation, etc.

JARED HARRISON – オーストラリア

As part of the Discipline of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Jared coordinates the Sydney Genesis start-up program, helping young entrepreneurs develop their social and commercial ventures. Jared also works to develop education programs to expand Genesis throughout South East Asia and to facilitate two-way learning exchanges between students and social entrepreneurs focused on community development in remote areas of Australia. Prior to joining the University in 2016, Jared worked in international supply chain and account management in both Melbourne and Sydney, before operating his own company in international textile raw material supply, representing some of Asia’s largest raw material makers since 2006.
Jared holds a Master of Commerce (MCom) with major in International Business.

Katsuya HASEGAWA has been a Project Professor at the University of Tokyo since 2009. He started his professional career as an LSI engineer at Panasonic in 1982. He became one of the founding members of Panasonic Ventures, a corporate VC arm of Panasonic in Silicon Valley in 1996. He left Panasonic in 2002 and became Managing Director of Venture Connection, LLC until he joined Waseda University in 2005 as a professor. He holds a BS and an MS in Applied Physics from the University of Tokyo. He was a visiting scholar at Stanford University between 1990 and 1992.

Dr Suresh Kumar started his career in Coimbatore, in a Textile Machinery Manufacturing company, after which he joined PSG-Science & Technology Entrepreneurial Park (PSG-STEP) – The Technology Busines Incubator (TBI) associated with PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India with the foucs to support start-ups in the areas of informtion technology, electronics and mechanical. He has been a part of establishing the incubation facility and building its brand to the stakeholders of entrepreneurship in the institute and in the region.
For about two decades, he has been responsible for managing the incubation facility, handholding start-ups, implementing the innovation fund, managing the seed fund support system, coordinating the Outreach Centre activities for promoting innovations and identifying & executing the consulting assignments.
Suresh Kumar is the elected president of Indian STEPs and Business Incubators Association (ISBA) and also handles the Secretariat of Asia Pacific Incubation Network (APIN) – an initiative supported by infoDev, World Bank & Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Under APIN, he organizes capacity building programms and workshops for the business incubation managers across the asia pacific region.
He is certified as Business Incubaton Trainer by infoDev, The World Bank Group and a mentor in the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN).
He had participated in various international programs/workshops held in various coutries.
Suresh Kumar holds a engineering degree in Mechanical and a PhD in Management.

Mike is an Investment Manager inside New Zealand Trade and Enterprise’s Investment Team. Mike enables companies to raise Seed to Series B investment amounts through capability building and connections to the global investment ecosystem. Mike has a key focus on the Information and Communication Technology sector and is also involved in the angel and venture capital markets. Prior to joining NZTE Mike was an Investment Director at Direct Capital, and was the primary lead of “TMT Ventures” New Zealand’s largest venture capital fund with $125m under management. His role included; board seats, influencing strategy, project work and leading mergers and acquisitions transactions in portfolio companies. In an earlier role at Direct Capital Mike was responsible for investment analysis, research, and preparation of investment proposals. Mike also has an extensive corporate and investment banking background with leading institutions, Barclays Capital and Ahli United Bank in the United Kingdom, and ANZ Bank.

NGUYEN THI HANH – ベトナム

Nguyen Thi Hanh is a lecturer of Faculty of Business Administration, Foreign Trade University, Vietnam. She was one of the thirty six lecturers in Vietnam who certified in Training of Trainers 2 (ToT2) by IPP2 Project (http://ipp.vn/en/what-we-do/). She research is situated in the field of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, with a special focus on Startup financing, Capital structure of Startups and Innovation in some industries such as fintech, agritech and biotechnology. Hanh teachs several courses on innovation and entrepreneurship to business students. She teachs the course “Innovation Management” and “New Venture Management” at FTU. Hanh also was mentor and coach of Startup Teams in Kawai Business Startup Contes and Vietnam Social Innovation Challenge in 2017, 2018 respectively. POH KAM WONG – シンガポール

WONG Poh Kam is Professor in entrepreneurship and innovation strategy at the NUS Business School, and concurrently the Senior Director of NUS Entrepreneurship Centre and Director of the NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) program. An active angel investor, he was the founding chairman of Business Angel Network (Southeast Asia), and is an advisor to a venture capital fund and a crowdfunding platform in Singapore. He received the Public Administration Medal (Silver) Award from the Singapore Government in 2013 for his contribution to education in Singapore, and the “Entrepreneur for the World” Award (Educator Category) from the World Entrepreneurship Forum in 2015. He is currently a board member of the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS), and the co-curator of the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s Transformation Map on Entrepreneurship. He obtained two BSc.’s, an MSc. and a Ph.D. from MIT. He was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at U.C. Berkeley, a visiting scholar at Stanford University and Oxford University, and a Pacific Leadership Fellow at UC San Diego.

RUBESCH EDWARD JAMES – タイ

Edward Rubesch has a mixture of practical and academic entrepreneurial experience. In Thailand, he has founded four companies which he still heads as president. He runs an accelerator and innovation development program with MIT’s Enterprise Forum, runs the Global Social Venture Competition with UC Berkeley, and is the Program Director of the Innovation Driven Entrepreneurship Center at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.

Ed uses his 30 years of innovation experience to build innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems in developing regions. He partners with MIT to develop the technology entrepreneurship ecosystem with the Ministry of Science and Technology in Thailand. The accelerator that he designed and runs for teams across Southeast Asia, and he invites the highest potential teams to visit MIT every year.

Ed was originally educated as a mechanical engineer, receiving Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received a Master of Management degree from a program offered jointly by the Kellogg School of Northwestern University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and Chulalongkorn University. He completed his Ph.D at Thammasat University in Bangkok, with a study of border entrepreneurs in the Greater Mekong Subregion. He is interested in technology development in the developing world, and informal distribution channels in developing countries, which are always led by entrepreneurs who by necessity create innovative and impact solutions in a challenging environment.

Siva Ramamoorthy (Siva) is a well-known member of the strongly emerging Start-up Ecosystem in India, South Asia and US.

He currently serves as a Mentor with India’s No 1 start-up Incubator Zone Startups, a Joint Venture between Bombay Stock Exchange and Ryerson University Canada. He also serves with Stanford Ignite- one of the world Top Start-up academic Programs, University of Sydney Genesis Start-up program.

He has taught several start-up programs including on sales, marketing, fund raising and product management for start-ups. He has over 30 Global Presentations and papers to his credit including in USA, South Korea Kyungpuk National University, Belgium, Sri Lanka, Fiji, and Australia. Significant invited speakerships include: “On Innovation” invited by the International Telecom Union, a United Nations body for their forum in Fiji and later.

Past Corporate roles include Director VMware, Director Intel, Product Management for a greater than $500 Million Product at Nortel Networks. And Head of Marketing at Tejas Networks a Red Herring Worldwide Top 100 India Start-up.

Justin was born and raised in San Diego, California. While attending college in Los Angeles, he began working at a medical device startup as a regulatory affairs associate and experienced multiple 510(k) and CE Mark filings. After graduating, he joined Boston Scientific Corporation as a regulatory affairs professional and worked in both the US and Japan. During this time, he worked on nearly 20 submissions for products such as carotid artery stents, neurovascular embolization coils, and coronary stents.
Upon completing business school, Justin joined Johnson & Johnson in Japan as a part of the new business development team and was in charge of assessing new technologies, managing cross-company product portfolios, and leading new projects. He also gained experience as a sales representative for the Ethicon franchise where he was responsible for over 200 Million Yen in revenue for surgical sutures, surgical drains and adhesion barriers across multiple specialties such as general surgery, gynecology, cardiology, and orthopedics.

Yulia Tolkishevskaya is an International Projects Manager at the Skolkovo Foundation – a largest state entity in charge of establishing and promoting the innovations ecosystem in Russia.
