株式会社サイフューズは、生きた細胞を３次元積層する独自の「バイオ３Ｄプリンター」Regenova®（レジェノバ®）を開発しました。現在この装置の研究用途での販売と、組織・臓器の研究開発を行っています。事業のゴールは、細胞から機能的な組織・臓器を製造する技術を社外とのオープンなコラボレーションを通じて開発し、難病に苦しむ患者さんのために実用化することです。このゴールに向けて現在大学の研究者とのコラボレーションを拡大しており、今年からプリンターの海外での販売も開始します。

AETech Corporation (AETech) was founded in May, 2010 as a research and development (R&D) company of Gallium Nitride (GaN) substrate for LED lighting application.

LED lighting is becoming very popular worldwide, and this industry is expected to grow for another several years at least 15% or more growth rate. However, AETech believes, in order for LED lighting to spread in full scale, price of LED lighting should be at least half or even less from current price level. LED lighting price is as high as 10 times the price of fluorescent light, and the life of which is just about 1/3 from LED’s which is said to be about 10 years.

AETech’s prime theme is to develop better LED chips in both quality and price. To resolve this theme, AETech has acquired the patent from Dr. Yao, Emeritus Professor of Tohoku University, and has filed spherical patents invented by AETech. These technologies will enable to reduce LED cost to half or even less than current price level.

AETech is aiming at the final development of GaN substrate by the end of April/May, 2012 to start sample sale from later this year which has more than double luminance at just half price from current LED lights.
