Kenichi started his career in law, working for several years at a multinational law firm, after which he joined Keio University as a business development specialist, where he helped lead idea incubation projects focused on industry-academia collaboration. In 2010, he transitioned into business operations in the electric vehicle industry, first as the General Manager of SIM-Drive Corporation and later as the executive vice-president of the StEVe Corporation. In 2014, Kenichi joined KSP, Inc. as an Investment Manager, where he was engaged in venture capital and value-add investment before joining Strategic Incubation Partners (SIP), Inc. As a Director at SIP, Kenichi applies his vast experience in the investment, business operations, and legal industries to business development. In 2021, Kenichi became Chief Incubation manager of the Todai Kashiwa Venture Plaza, SME Japan. Kenichi has a bachelor’s degree from Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo.
