Taketo SUGAWARA is a Director of Incubation and Entrepreneurship Education at the University of Tokyo. He teaches Entrepreneurship, runs multiple startup support programs and manages the University of Tokyo’s on-campus incubators, Entrepreneur Plaza, Entrepreneur Lab, Entrepreneur Hub, etc. Since 2009, in his role, he has taught more than 4,000 students and incubated more than 100 university startups. 5 of the supported startups has been listed on the stock market and 9 of them has been positively acquired by public companies. Prior to that, he has worked for IBM as a consultant. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Business Administration from the University of Tokyo.
