As part of the Discipline of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Jared coordinates the Sydney Genesis start-up program, helping young entrepreneurs develop their social and commercial ventures. Jared also works to develop education programs to expand Genesis throughout South East Asia and to facilitate two-way learning exchanges between students and social entrepreneurs focused on community development in remote areas of Australia. Prior to joining the University in 2016, Jared worked in international supply chain and account management in both Melbourne and Sydney, before operating his own company in international textile raw material supply, representing some of Asia’s largest raw material makers since 2006.
Jared holds a Master of Commerce (MCom) with major in International Business.
