Christie graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, focusing on International Business and Marketing.
After university, Christie began her career as a Management Trainee at a leading airline in Hong Kong. In this role, she rotated through different departments, including Commercial, Corporate Governance, Operations, and Service Delivery. She also had the opportunity to be seconded to the company’s Japan branch, where she helped develop local sales strategies.
Following this, Christie joined Klook, a prominent travel and tourism platform. There, she drove partnerships with destination marketing organizations across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.
Christie’s next role was at Lalamove, where she worked in both partnerships/business development and product management. She was responsible for driving the company’s corporate solutions and go-to-market strategies for their e-commerce offerings.
Currently, Christie works at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). In this position, she co-develops incubation programs with local and overseas ecosystem partners. She also assists overseas startups in establishing a presence in Hong Kong.
Throughout her career, Christie has gained valuable experience in various industries, including aviation, travel technology, logistics, and startup ecosystem development. She is passionate about leveraging her cross-functional expertise to drive innovation and support the growth of businesses.
