iHandal is focused on creating a better environment for future generations. We are a turnkey provider of customized and modular heat pumps that are designed around commercial and industrial heat recovery and process application. Our solution is optionally combined with a guaranteed savings or performance contracting business models where we are focused on providing electrification and decarbonization by replacing traditional HVAC equipment and boilers, with high temperature natural refrigerant heat pumps using CO2, NH3 and R290. iHandal operates in 12 countries (South East Asia, Australia, Sri Lanka, US, Canada, Sweden) and is selected as part of the inaugural cohort of companies by NYSERDA for help to decarbonise New York. iHandal is developing to become an established advanced manufacturer of heat pumps to serve niche commercial and industrial Markets, globally for retrofits.

After ten years of operation, iHandal’s energy systems have been adopted in over 130 projects across twelve countries. Their big goal is to reduce carbon emissions by 200 million tons annually by 2030. This notable ambition is parallel to Japan’s government initiative to become carbon neutral by 2050.
By utilizing and recycling the wasted energy from buildings, users can save lots of money and protect the environment. iHandal’s 3C process : CAPTURE + COMPRESS + CHANNEL are cost-saving heating and cooling solutions that have proven to save energy consumption. With their patented and innovative Thermal Efficiency Equipment and Solutions, this company is interested in working with Japanese manufacturers and energy engineering companies.
iHandal was nominated because of the future of its technology to contribute to Japan’s roadmap to tackle the challenge of climate change. With iHandal’s innovation, I hope they can showcase their capability in AEA and build interest from Japanese counterparts in line with Japan national aims to become a carbon-neutral, decarbonized society by 2050.
I believe what the company require now is global exposure for potential collaboration with Japanese high-tech companies to improve their energy system.
