Asian Entrepreneurship Award 2013 is the international business competition that will pull together young Asian entrepreneurs and be held in Japan for three days.
When young entrepreneurs have exciting and valuable experience of mutually learning from and being inspired by peers from all over the world, they can gain huge confidence to overcome numerous difficulties and move forward with their own businesses. This Award will offer a three-day program as a part of an innovation creating project led by Japan in collaboration with other Asian countries, in an effort to create a big network for entrepreneurship development attracting mentors and venture capitalists from Asia and the world. Each member of Nominating Committee will recommend one company which meets the requirement below;
- Established within the previous five years
- Not listed on a stock exchange
- Start-up specializing in technology
Semifinals: | Each nominated company is judged by semi-final judges on the basis of a 10-minute presentation, and six are selected as finalists. |

Finals: | The six semifinal winners are judged by final judges on the basis of a 15-minute presentation. |

1. Innovativeness, commercial viability and social impact of the business, with consideration given to the potential of the business to expand and bring about changes in the global economy and society.
2. Business performance, which includes the nominee’s competitive advantages, management team, strategic vision, and communication capabilities, including presentation skills.

This Prize would come with: a) Round-trip plane ticket (tourist class) for 2 key members of the winning team from their home country to Shanghai, China; b) Free use of workstations for 2 team members in InnoSpace for 6 months to explore and penetrate the Chinese market; c) Avail to KIC and InnoSpace's business matching sessions such as Angels Day, Media Day and International Day, mentorship programs etc for free. These sessions are held usually once every month; d) Avail to other handholding services such as company incorporation, basic recruitment services and legal advices for free. |
